Renee is a co-owner and co-founder of Salvage Sisters, a Repurposed Store. As a previous owner of a Buffalo, MN occasional store, she’s been in this line of work for 5 years, specializing in lightly distressed large furniture, painted in fun colors.
With her husband (who is her “best junking find”), 4 kids, 3 grand-kids and “1 crazy dachshund,” she finds inspiration in old barn wood, nature and “anything rusty and crusty.” Renee realized she was a ‘junker’ when “I couldn’t park the car in a 4-stall garage!”
Talented, creative, and business-minded, Renee hopes her work helps people see everything as having more than one use, more than one purpose; and she inspires others to try the art of repurposing for themselves.
